This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing with integrally cast mounting feet. The unit utilizes a bronze impeller coupled to a stainless steel shaft, which is protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve that prevents fluid contact within the dry shaft design. Rated for a maximum pressure of 125 PSI without a wear ring, the internal assembly incorporates a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat and EPT rubber components. The design allows for component service without disturbing the connected system piping.
Powered by a 20 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM, the assembly integrates Aegis shaft grounding and functions on a 380-460V / 3PH power supply, resulting in a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
