This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and cover with 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge connections. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller and an ANSI Class 125 flanged design. The pump incorporates a bronze slip-on shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from system fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge ports, flush seal line taps for filtration, and a rear pullout design to facilitate maintenance without disturbing system piping.
This pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP, 3450 RPM Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured in an 184 JM frame with feet and operates on 230-460/60/3PH power. It features across-the-line starting, CCW rotation, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. This model has a PEI value of 0.89.
