This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a class 30 cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The assembly utilizes a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft covered by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. Engineered for operation up to 125 PSI, the pump integrates a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat half and EPT rubber. This component configuration maintains thermal tolerance up to 250°F and facilitates maintenance through an accessible shaft sleeve.
The motor operates at 10 HP with premium efficiency and a TEFC enclosure at 3450 RPM. This assembly incorporates Aegis grounding and functions on a 380-460V / 3PH power supply, resulting in a DOE PEI rating of 0.45. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 4X / IP 66 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
