This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 11" nominal stainless steel impeller. It includes a bronze wear ring and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The shaft is composed of stainless steel and utilizes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. The pump uses a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This pump is driven by a 20 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor in a NEMA 256 T frame with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured for 230-460V/60/3PH power input and supports across the line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards as defined in NEMA MG1-12.55. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The rotation is CCW, and the unit is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment. This pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
