This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Integrated pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections, along with flush seal line taps.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP, TEFC, WEG NEMA T-frame motor, frame 215, rated for 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power. It utilizes an across-the-line starting configuration. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and a standard coupler guard with a Woods coupler. This unit meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a DOE PEI of 0.87. Sealed-for-life bearings are housed within the frame to support operation.
