This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly includes a bronze wear ring and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. Pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections, and the bearing frame features sealed-for-life bearings.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and NEMA 254 T-frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard.
