This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent the shaft from contacting the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit features flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, with a rear pullout design for servicing.
This pump is driven by a 30 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and operates at 1750 RPM. It is configured on a 286 JM motor frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and operates on 230-460V, 60 Hz, 3PH power at a 40°C ambient temperature. The pump features a top center line discharge design and has a PEI of 0.93.
