This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge, both with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. It uses a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 182 T-frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460/60/3 PH power. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and a coupler guard protecting a Woods coupler. It features sealed-for-life ball bearings and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards with a DOE PEI of 0.88.
