This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing, a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent circulating fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal includes a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump assembly incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections. This unit is constructed without a wear ring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 213 T-frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460/60/3 power with an across-the-line starting option. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. It features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA motor standards. The motor provides premium efficiency per MG1-12.55, and the unit has a DOE PEI of 0.94. The internal bearings are permanently lubricated and sealed for life.
