This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge ports with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent system fluid contact with the pump shaft and features flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit utilizes a rear pullout design for servicing.
This pump is driven by a 3 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and an included drip cover. The motor operates at 1750 RPM and is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply. It is mounted in a 182 JM frame with feet. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards, complies with MG1-12.55, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature environment and has a DOE PEI of 0.83.
