This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and includes ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft protected by a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber, rated for 225°F. Pressure tappings are integrated into the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 284T frame. Electrical requirements are 230-460V/60Hz/3PH with an across-the-line starting configuration. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standard MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base featuring an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This equipment is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and has a DOE PEI of 0.89.
