This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact with circulating fluids and includes gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP, 230-460/60/3PH Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured with a 324 T frame and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. The pump operates with an across-the-line starting configuration in a 40 °C ambient environment. This equipment maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.93 and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards.
