This base-mounted end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing with integrally cast mounting feet and a 125 PSI pressure rating. It incorporates a bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft covered by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, all protected by a ceramic mechanical seal with EPT rubber. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft, while an included wear ring maintains hydraulic integrity. Centrally located discharge ports assist with air venting, and the construction allows for servicing without disrupting system piping.
The assembly utilizes a 10 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis shaft grounding, powered by a 200-230V 3PH electrical supply, and maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.45. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
