This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. The pump incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. It is configured with a mechanical seal utilizing a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This assembly is rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F and is used for clean water applications.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 184T NEMA frame. It is powered by 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz current and uses an across the line starting method. The unit includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards with a PEI value of 0.85. The pump is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes a drip pan and a Woods coupler.
