This base-mounted end suction pump incorporates a cast iron casing with integrally cast mounting feet and a bronze impeller. The assembly utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents circulating fluid from contacting the stainless steel shaft, which is protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. A mechanical seal consisting of ceramic and EPT components manages pressure up to 125 PSI. Designed for maintenance efficiency, the pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections, allowing for field servicing without disturbing system piping.
The motor is a 25 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC unit operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis Grounding, compatible with 380-460V / 3PH power, and carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
