This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections for monitoring.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 254 T frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 with across-the-line starting. The motor is connected via a Woods coupler and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that features an integral drip pan and a standard coupler guard. The unit meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and has a PEI value of 0.93.
