This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump assembly incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve that prevents contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250°F for use with clean water.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 213T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The assembly includes a welded structural steel base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It utilizes a standard Woods coupler and a bearing frame with greasable bearings. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards, and the unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.87. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding.
