This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and cover with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a stainless steel impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter. It includes a bronze wear ring and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design with a slip-on shaft sleeve and flush seal line taps. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, with a 2" suction port and 1-1/4" discharge port. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration simplifies piping layouts.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor in a 215 JM motor frame with feet. It features a TEFC enclosure, a drip cover, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA standard requirements and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency ratings. Power configuration is 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH with an across-the-line starting option. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature with counter-clockwise rotation and has a PEI of 0.83.
