This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a cast iron casing and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump is constructed with a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, NEMA frame 254, and T frame style. The electrical configuration is 200V, 60Hz, 3PH, with a PEI rating of 0.93. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per NEMA MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupler connects the pump and motor, which is configured for across the line starting.
