This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 6" suction and 5" discharge, both configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and includes a bronze wear ring. The pump is equipped with a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve, utilizing a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly also incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 40 HP Baldor motor. It is configured with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 324 T-frame. The electrical power requirement is 230-460/60/3 PH. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard for the Woods-style coupler. The bearing frame features greasable bearings. This model meets a PEI value of 0.94 and complies with MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards.
