This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 1-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection. The pump is equipped with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter NSF61 stainless steel impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes ANSI Class 125 flanges and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 3 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor with an ODP enclosure and AEGIS shaft grounding. This motor is configured for 200V, 3PH, 60Hz power and is mounted in a NEMA 182 frame. The assembly is secured to a welded structural steel base that includes a drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. The system is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI of 0.90 and an HI energy rating of 14.
