This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction port and a 4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, a stainless steel shaft, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The internal mechanical seal uses a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. This model utilizes a dry shaft design and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and is mounted in a 256T NEMA frame. The assembly is installed on a welded base that features an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It uses a Woods coupler for the drive connection and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards with a PEI value of 0.97. The system uses across-the-line starting and counter-clockwise rotation.
