This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The bearing frame design includes sealed-for-life ball bearings and flush seal line taps, with gauge ports provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 75 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 365 T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and uses across-the-line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This configuration is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature, meets NEMA standards, and has a PEI of 0.93.
