This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 6-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It uses a stainless steel shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections for monitoring. This pump is rated for temperatures up to 250 °F.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and utilizes a 143 JM frame style with feet. The motor meets NEMA standard requirements and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency specifications. Additional equipment includes AEGIS shaft grounding and an across-the-line starting configuration. The unit is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI value of 0.88.
