This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge connection. It includes a 6-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve. It is configured with a mechanical seal comprising a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 300°F clean water operation. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor on a NEMA 254 T-frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and operates at a 40°C ambient temperature. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard using a Woods coupler. This equipment has a DOE PEI value of 0.89.
