This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump casing is constructed from cast iron, and it utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It is configured with a stainless steel shaft and a stainless steel shaft sleeve, incorporating a dry shaft design to prevent contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of EPT rubber, a ceramic seat, and a carbon rotor, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP motor in a NEMA 326 frame with a TEFC enclosure. The motor requires 380/60/3 power and uses an across-the-line starting option. It meets WEG premium efficiency standards and MG1-12.55 guidelines. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. This equipment is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI value of 0.93 and an HI energy rating of 7, designed for 40°C ambient temperatures with standard counter-clockwise rotation.
