This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter. It uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The unit includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections for monitoring.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor in a 284TS NEMA frame with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power with an across the line starting option. This motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The DOE PEI for this unit is 0.95.
