This end suction pump utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the stainless steel shaft. The assembly incorporates a cast iron casing with integrally cast mounting feet and a stainless steel impeller for hydraulic performance. A replaceable bronze shaft sleeve protects the shaft, while the mechanical seal integrates a ceramic seat and EPT rubber. This pump is rated for 125 PSI and includes a wear ring to maintain performance during operation.
Powering this assembly is a 40 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis grounding, configured for a 380-460V / 3PH power supply, resulting in a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
