This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve and includes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP ODP Baldor premium efficiency motor in a NEMA 284 T-frame enclosure. The motor is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with across the line starting and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, connecting to the pump via a Woods flexible coupler. The system utilizes greasable bearings and has a DOE PEI of 0.89.
