This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for a maximum temperature of 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in a 213 NEMA T frame with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and utilizes across the line starting. The motor meets Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard for the Woods coupler. The pump has a DOE PEI of 0.88.
