This close-coupled end suction pump incorporates a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller to move fluid. The assembly utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal with a ceramic seat half and EPT rubber protects the internal components. This unit maintains a maximum pressure of 125 PSI. Pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections allow for system monitoring, while flush seal line taps provide an option for the installation of an external filter to protect the seal from particles.
Powered by a 50 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 3450 RPM, this pump integrates Aegis grounding and utilizes 200-230V 3PH power with a DOE PEI rating of 0.47. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
