This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing with an integrally cast mounting foot and center-line discharge. The assembly integrates a bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, which maintains the dry shaft design. A mechanical seal utilizes a ceramic seat and EPT rubber to provide pressure resistance up to 125 PSI. This configuration prevents fluid contact with the pump shaft to mitigate potential corrosion.
The motor operates at 75 HP, premium efficiency, TEFC enclosure, 3450 RPM, with Aegis grounding, powered by 380-460V / 3PH, and maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.47. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
