This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The unit includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents fluid contact with the pump shaft. The mechanical seal features a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump utilizes a rear pullout design for servicing and a top centerline discharge to assist with piping layouts. Integrated flush seal line taps allow for the installation of a filter, and pressure tappings are provided on both suction and discharge connections.
The pump is driven by a 30 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and AEGIS shaft grounding. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The motor utilizes a JM frame style with feet and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature, features across-the-line starting, and has a PEI of 0.97.
