This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge, both with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The pump includes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit is constructed with heavy-duty, permanently lubricated sealed-for-life ball bearings housed in a cast iron bearing frame.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor Super E Premium Efficiency motor in a NEMA 184T frame. The motor features an ODP enclosure and supports an across the line starting configuration. Power requirements are 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This model meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and has a PEI value of 0.86.
