This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller and a cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on both suction and discharge connections, and the unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding.
The pump is driven by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor mounted on a 184T NEMA frame. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3 power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor is configured for a 40 °C ambient temperature and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.86.
