This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided at the suction and discharge connections, and the unit includes flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 20 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor in a 254T NEMA frame with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is equipped with a Woods coupler and a standard coupler guard. This model meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The DOE PEI rating is 0.9.
