This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a dry shaft design with a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve to prevent fluid contact. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250 °F. It features flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for service without removing system piping, and the top centerline discharge configuration promotes self-venting.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor. The motor is a NEMA 145JM frame style with feet and a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for 230-460V/60/3PH power input with across the line starting. The pump is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature and complies with NEMA MG1-12.55 standards. The pump efficiency is defined by a DOE PEI value of 0.85.
