This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft. The assembly includes a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. This unit is configured without a wear ring and utilizes greasable bearings housed within the bearing frame.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor ODP motor in a 254 T frame. It uses an across-the-line starting option and is compatible with 230-460/60/3 power. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupling. This configuration has a DOE PEI of 0.92 and operates in a 40°C ambient environment with counter-clockwise rotation.
