This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a stainless steel impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located on both the suction and discharge connections.
The system is powered by a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 256 T frame style, operating at 1750 RPM. Electrical requirements are 230-460/60/3 with across the line starting. The pump is configured on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The assembly features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This unit has a DOE PEI of 0.93.
