This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge connections. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal containing a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump assembly incorporates a dry shaft design, flush seal line taps for filter installation, and standard pressure tappings on suction and discharge ports. A rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration supports pump venting and reduces piping strain.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 3 HP Baldor motor featuring a TEFC enclosure and a drip cover. It is configured with an 182 JM motor frame style with feet and operates on 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting option is across the line, and the assembly is rated with a PEI of 0.84.
