This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection. The unit utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It incorporates a stainless steel shaft and a bronze shaft sleeve with a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and Viton rubber, rated for clean water temperatures up to 300°F. The pump casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and features flush seal line taps.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 184T frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 PH, utilizing across-the-line starting. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This model maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.86.
