This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter and is constructed with a cast iron casing, bronze impeller, and bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and circulating fluid. The pump utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F. Flush seal line taps are provided for optional filter installation, and pressure tappings are included on both suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor features a 286 JM frame with feet and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The ambient temperature rating is 40°C with CCW rotation. The unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.89. The top center-line discharge design facilitates piping, and the rear pullout assembly allows for servicing without disconnecting the system piping.
