This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. It includes an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump uses a dry shaft design with an AEGIS shaft grounding ring and a replaceable slip-on bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. Its rear pullout design allows for service access without disturbing the system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
This pump is powered by a 30 HP Baldor TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM. It utilizes a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and is configured with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is housed in a 286 JM frame with feet for mounting. This assembly meets NEMA premium efficiency standards according to MG1-12.55 and has a PEI value of 0.92.
