This close-coupled end suction pump incorporates a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller to facilitate fluid transfer. The assembly utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve with a ceramic seal seat and EPT rubber components to manage internal sealing. A dry shaft design allows for operation at up to 125 PSI without a wear ring. The construction integrates flush seal line taps for the installation of an external filter to protect the mechanical seal from non-condensable particles. Additionally, standard pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections allow for monitoring of system flow.
Powered by a 7.5 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 3450 RPM with Aegis grounding, the unit utilizes a 200-230V / 3PH power supply and provides a DOE PEI rating of 0.42. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
