This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid and features a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The internal design supports a maximum fluid temperature of 250°F. The unit is configured with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and assists with self-venting.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor. The motor is configured with a TEFC enclosure, a 215 JM frame with feet, and operates on 230-460V, 3PH power. It meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and carries a PEI rating of 0.9. The motor is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and uses an across-the-line starting option.
