This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly utilizes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with an integrated bronze wear ring. The pump includes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. It is configured with a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components, suitable for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates greasable bearings within the bearing frame.
The pump is driven by a 10 HP, 3450 RPM Baldor motor in a NEMA 215 frame with a TEFC enclosure. It operates on a 230-460/60/3 power supply and utilizes an across-the-line starting configuration. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, connecting to the pump via a Woods flexible coupler. This equipment features a DOE PEI rating of 0.89.
