This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly features a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The casing includes suction and discharge gauge ports and a drain port to support system maintenance.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply and utilizes across-the-line starting. The motor is mounted on a 286T NEMA frame. The assembly is installed on a welded structural steel base equipped with an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This configuration achieves a DOE PEI value of 0.93.
