This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the system fluid. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, with a rear pull-out design to facilitate maintenance.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230/460V 3PH 60Hz power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is mounted in a NEMA JM frame 284 with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This unit meets premium efficiency standards and features a PEI of 0.89. The motor is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
