This base-mounted end suction pump incorporates a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft. To protect the shaft from circulating fluid, the assembly utilizes a dry shaft design with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat and EPT rubber, providing a seal arrangement rated for 125 PSI operation without a wear ring. This pump is engineered to allow service access without disturbing system piping connections.
The pump operates with a 10 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor at 1750 RPM, which integrates Aegis grounding and accepts 200-230V / 3PH power, resulting in a DOE PEI of 0.46. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 4X / IP 66 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
