This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing with an integrated bronze wear ring and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. This unit is configured for clean water applications and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is a NEMA 213 T-frame style and is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features an OSHA-compliant coupler guard and a Woods coupler. The system provides a 40°C ambient rating and maintains a DOE PEI of 0.91.
